The Deepal G318 is expected to launch in Saudi Arabia by late 2025 or early 2026 by Al Tayer or independent importers. The rugged REEV SUV is built for Saudi roads and adventures, offering exceptional range and off-road capability.

We anticipated a mid‑2026 launch through authorised import channels or the regional Al Tayer network.

Price

The Deepal G318 price in KSA is estimated at around SAR 130,000–160,000, aligned with Tiger‑to‑AED conversions and import costs.

Powertrain & Performance

The G318 will come with three powertrain options,

• RWD with 185 kW rear motor (248 hp), 190 km EV range, 0–100 in 8.3 s.

• AWD premium version with two motors making 316 kW (424 hp), torque at 572 Nm, 0–100 km/h in 6.3 s.

• Generator engine: 1.5 L turbo, range‑extending only. Combined range ~1,000 km+ with fuel economy of 6.1–6.7 L/100 km.
  Towing capacity of 1,600 kg via optional tow hook.

Ride & Handling

With the independent suspension, CDC-tuned air springs, and strong chassis dynamics, the G318 offers controlled ride quality under Saudi conditions, from highway cruising to red‑sand roads. 16 driver modes ensure versatile responses across climates.

Interior & Features

It gets a roomy cabin with flexible cargo layout, fold-flat seating or sofa-bed use. Features a 14.6-inch central display, 12.3-inch instrument panel, premium leather surfaces, ventilated seats, ambient lighting and smart storage. The cabin insulation and quiet ride suit long Saudi drives.

Safety & Driver Assistance

It is loaded with advanced safety features, including multi-terrain ABS, electronic differential locks, steering assist (R-EPS), IACC, 540° vision and robust battery protection. Expected strong crash rating aligned to global standards.

Rivals

In the Saudi market, the G318 competes with premium off-road hybrid SUVs and imported electric-extended models such as the Kia Sorento Hybrid, Tank 300 and Land Cruiser Prado variants, offering superior range and technology at a lower price point.
